The Amazing Experience
The most exciting event that happened to me was
that DFLL won the cheerleading contest and we even went into the final
competition. We brought the trophy home last weekend, which was an unbelievable
news for me. During the preparation, we spent lots of time on practicing. Almost
every night and weekend, we would gather together learning the new dance movement
from the teacher and after that, we have to practice it again and again until
it was perfect enough. Owing to I am one of the leaders in the team, I had to
rush to the lawn or the field would be occupied by other department. Sometimes
it was really tired because we had already studyied almost whole day but we still had to put the
homework aside and practiced at night. However, it was an unforgettable experience
to all of us. Because of the competition, we are closer than before. I always
thought that we can’t make it since we don’t have much boys like the other department.
And , of course, I had never dare to think of winning the prize in the beginning
but we did it and even won the fourth prize in the end, which surprised me at
that time.

To Be Healthier
I found one thing surprised me is that I gained
lots of weight after I went to college. Interestingly, my PE class is called
exercise and control weight but I still didn’t lose any weight. It is like no
matter how hard I tried on exercising, my body would go the opposite way. I ride
bicycle everyday to school and practice cheer leading contest every night which
always made me sweat. In comparison with some of my friends, I barely eat the
late night snake which always a torture for me to watch others enjoying the
delicious meal without any guilty. In conclusion, I will try to exercise and be
healthy since I eat out every day because of I live outside my house which always
provides nutrient and healthy meal. I have better keep on working on being fit
for the up comming cheer leading contest.

The New Challenge
Since I’ve been here, Taichung, for more than
one month, there were still plenty of things that I can’t get used to it. For example,
the weather in Taichung is far different from the weather in my hometown Taipei,
where it’s already cool and damp right now. The weather is always perfectly
great in Taichung that always makes me feel comfortable but also too hot for me.
Sometimes I miss my hometown for my family and friends. As a girl leaving
everything which is so familiar alone for the first time is really tough for
me. However, there is one thing that really surprised me. The cost of the
living is much cheaper than Taipei. I can hardly keep my belly full by only 50
dollars in Taipei. It’s interesting that I can save lots of pocket money on
food and to buy other things I want to buy. To sum up, I feel I’m much more
independent than before. Thanking God that I have the chance to go to a college
which is far from my hometown so that a can learn to be mature and to be a
grown up teenager.

A Recent Trip
Topic: A Recent Trip
I
went to Budapest in Hungary with my sister this summer vacation. During the
backpack trip from Germany to Vienna, we stay in Budapest for three days. The reason
why we choose Budapest is that I have been interesting in the European cultural
and fortunately I just finished my entrance exam, it’s a good opportunity to
relax and look around the world. From the decorated buildings, churches and the
castle on the hill, Budapest is a beautiful and unique city. Every building has
its own special carved statues, which are different from the building we see in
Taiwan. In addition, the people in Budapest is really friendly, though we speak
different languages, I could feel it on their faces and the way they treat the
foreigners. The most unforgettable scenery for me is the night scenes. We can
see the whole city, which is separated by the Danube River, from the mountain. The
lights not only light up the Budapest but all the tourists’ hearts.

my observation in college !
It has been a period of time since i became a freshman student in college. It was a whole new experience to me. In comparison with the life in senior high school, the college life is not only more challenging but also more competitive. The interesting but also difficult is that I am free from home! Living in the dormitory with new friends and learning to do everything by myself are sometimes challenging. In the beginning, I couldn’t get used to it because I have to do all the housework such as cleaning up the bathroom and washing the clothes. It was exhausted ! Then I realized that it’s a great opportunity for me to grow up and to become a mature and responsible person. Sometimes, I miss my family, since this is my first time leaving home to other city alone. Fortunately, I met lots of good friends, just like family standing by my side.
