Tragedy

       After a “series” of exam over the last two weeks, we’ve became true college students! Though there is still one exam on Wednesday we haven’t finished, I totally set out sight of relief. In comparison with the exam we took in the high school, the exam we took in college is much more difficult and more complicated. For example, the time is longer, no multiple choice question but essay question instead. At the first time, I was very nervous about the exam for getting bad grades. Unfortunately, my concern came true in the end. My grades didn’t look good which really upsets me. Then, I realized that my English is getting more and more poorer than the period of time that I was preparing for the college entrance exam. The words I use are too shallow and the vocabulary I used to remember four months ago are disappeared as if someone stole my brain and erase all the knowledge away. Trying to improve myself and make up for the tragedy next time, I will work hard with all my strength. Hope that I will fulfill my goal in the final exam!

Welcome My New Dog and Break Through the Obstacles

     Last week was a combination of gladness and tiredness for me. First, here came a new member to my family! A black Poodle, whose name haven’t been think of came to my house last weekend. Since he was only two month old, too small to eat solid food, my sister feed him milk every day. Though he is the Poodle, I think he looks like the black little lamp very much. Seeing from the Internet, because I can’t go home , the little black furry ball always catch my eyes. There are one thing that really interests me is that I can’t identify his eyes and nose on the face for his curly hair is a totally dark, black fur ball. Therefore, I am extremely looking forward to going home, hugging the cute poppy and playing trick with him. In addition, there is one thing that cast the dark light on me. Owing to the midterm exam, I study so hard every night with my dorm mates. Rushing to the library after class, we sank into the English text books rapidly. We can’t even go home because of the exam and burning the midnight oil is common for us. Since it is the first exam in college, I am very worried about it for blowing it. However, I am still trying to relax myself and not to let the stress push me too far. I am hoping that I can get through the exam safely.

 

The Amazing Experience

     The most exciting event that happened to me was that DFLL won the cheerleading contest and we even went into the final competition. We brought the trophy home last weekend, which was an unbelievable news for me. During the preparation, we spent lots of time on practicing. Almost every night and weekend, we would gather together learning the new dance movement from the teacher and after that, we have to practice it again and again until it was perfect enough. Owing to I am one of the leaders in the team, I had to rush to the lawn or the field would be occupied by other department. Sometimes it was really tired because we had already studyied  almost whole day but we still had to put the homework aside and practiced at night. However, it was an unforgettable experience to all of us. Because of the competition, we are closer than before. I always thought that we can’t make it since we don’t have much boys like the other department. And , of course, I had never dare to think of winning the prize in the beginning but we did it and even won the fourth prize in the end, which surprised me at that time.
