Since I’ve been here, Taichung, for more than
one month, there were still plenty of things that I can’t get used to it. For example,
the weather in Taichung is far different from the weather in my hometown Taipei,
where it’s already cool and damp right now. The weather is always perfectly
great in Taichung that always makes me feel comfortable but also too hot for me.
Sometimes I miss my hometown for my family and friends. As a girl leaving
everything which is so familiar alone for the first time is really tough for
me. However, there is one thing that really surprised me. The cost of the
living is much cheaper than Taipei. I can hardly keep my belly full by only 50
dollars in Taipei. It’s interesting that I can save lots of pocket money on
food and to buy other things I want to buy. To sum up, I feel I’m much more
independent than before. Thanking God that I have the chance to go to a college
which is far from my hometown so that a can learn to be mature and to be a
grown up teenager.
I think that you have some false on grammar.

Because I also come from the north of Taiwan, I-lan, I can understand you feeling on the difference of climate.
Although the cost is more cheaper, apparently we still can't save more money before. haha.
