Something
came to my mind these days. Since I am in the beginning of the new year but also
the final of this semester, the first semester of my college life. Therefore, I
sank into deem mood last night for meditating what I have done in the year 2012
and what should I improve. In the last year, there are so many things that
change my attitude toward life. Preparing for the entrance exam, I wasn’t
emerge in the book every day, however, I have lots of good friend that I believe
they will be the very important people in my whole life. We talk about the
future, share our troubles, even be silly together. Whenever I was exhausted because
of the school pressure, they are my only solution to being optimistic again. Apart
from having good friends, after entering college was a whole new world for me. After
Leave my home town alone without friends and family around, I became mature and
independent in the last four months which surprised me a lot for the change not
only my personality but the attitude. I would think in a more mature way than I
used to be in high school. I collect my thoughts every night before I go to
bed. I feel pleasant to change in that way in the last year. It was a wonderful
year in my whole life.

My new goal in 2013
My new goals are not very extraordinary.
Since I entered college, I have met many friends from different backgrounds and
characteristics and many school activities stimulated me to think about what my
goals are and how to fulfill them. Though
I haven’t thought up any objectives after graduation from college, I have some
plans in the year 2013. First, I registered the tour guide test in March. The
reason why I want to apply for the professional certification is not I want to
be a tour guide in the future. I just consider it a challenge after undergo the
college entrance exam for the subjects are history and geographic which I have
learn before. In addition, having a guide tour professional certification is
much cooler than having a driving license at my age. Second, I also want to
participate in the TOEIC which I should have already joined. Sometimes I found
my English standard is fading away! In comparison with the period of preparing
for the entrance exam, I am regressing. Therefore, I wish that in the New Year I
can work hard on the tour guide certification and the TOEIC at the same time. Last
but not least, I wish that I can find a way in the future such as what I want
to do after graduation.

A Wonderful New Year
This four days vacation was the best new year holiday of my life. It
had been almost one month since I last went home. The reason why the vacation
was so meaningful to me was that I had a reunion with my junior high school
friends and my cram school math teacher. Speaking of the math teacher from the
cram school, he was the only person that changed my life. Not only did he give
a lot of instruction and confidence to encourage me not to give up on math, but
also lead me through the adversity in my life. Whenever I was frustrated, I
would go to his office and ask for solution. This time when I step in his
office, those familiar memory soon haunted in my mind. What a pity was that we
only talked about one hour. However, I am very happy to see him again and share
my new college life with him. The other three days I went to Ilan to celebrate
the coming of new year with some of my best friends in junior high school.
Though the weather was bad, freaking cold outside, I felt warm. We went to the
night market, lake and even went to the farm on foot for two hours. It was
crazy to walk on the mountain road in such low temperature. To prevent from
feeling bored, we turn the music loud and sing along together. Sometimes we
just walked without talking, I can hear the birds chirping, which had a lot of
difference from the experience in my hometown Taipei. After we arrived at the
farm, we bought bottles of beers and celebrated the coming of new year in the
room together. I think the most unforgettable memory in our journey is that the
bond between. When we chatting, it was like we were going back to seventeen. To
sum up, this short vacation was a recharge for me because the reality is the
final exam is around the corner. Its time to study hard!
